Lina Wang(Lily)

Dr. Wang has been engaged in the research on the Epidemiology of the Cardiovascular diseases for more than 8 years. Her current research interests include: The environmental risk factors of Cardiovascular diseases; Genetic variant of LncRNAs and the susceptibility of coronary artery disease (CAD); The relationships between the inflammation and the risk of CAD; The cohort study on the Major Adverse Cardiovascular Effects (MACEs) of CAD patients. She has published 24 papers including 14 SCI papers.

Dr. Wang was born in Anhui Province, China in 1977. She got her Bachelor’s degree on Preventive Medicine in Anhui Medical University in 2001, M.D. on the Maternal and Children Health in Anhui Medical University in 2004, PhD. on Epidemiology and Biostatistics in Nanjing Medical University in 2007 and Postdoctor on Biological Sciences & Medical Engineering in Southeast University in 2015. From Oct, 2013 to Oct, 2014, she was a visiting scholar in University of Wisconsin-Madison in U.S.. She joined the School of Public Health of SEU in 2007, and now, she is an associate professor and the deputy director of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health, SEU. Dr. Wang has been engaged in teaching  in English for several years.
