Research Interest
Dr. Sun’s primary research area is the environmental and occupational hazards. She is interested in the molecular mechanisms underlying benzene-induced bone marrow inhibition, especially on hematopoietic stem cells, with the aim of finding early prevention and diagnosis biomarkers. Currently, Dr. Sun is the PI of one grant on mechanism of toxicity of benzene from National Science Foundation of China.
