Liu Pei, Professor of Health Statistics, School of Public Health, Southeast University; Director, Institute of Health Statistics and Information, Southeast University. Professor Liu Pei has been engaged in teaching and research of health statistics. Prof. Liu’s research areas include: the application of Bayesian statistics in medicine, quantitative assessment of food safety and dietary exposure, and epidemiological intervention of major infectious diseases. Professor Liu is the vice president of Chinese society of preventive medicine biostatistics branch; Director of health statistics Specialized Committee, Jiangsu Institute of health information; Drug evaluation experts of State Food and Drug Administration. At present, he has undertaken research projects of National Natural Science Foundation and national science and technology major projects (sub projects).
